I couldn't believe how much I hated Kyle right now.

Every time I thought about him, I felt a rage that I could hardly contain. It was infuriating how someone so insignificant could cause so much trouble. Everything that happened—it was all his fault. If he'd just stayed in his lane, if he hadn't tried to play the hero, none of this would have spiraled out of control. But no, Kyle had to act like he was better than everyone else, like he was the victim in all of this.

It made me sick.
