Chapter 21: Not Scared To Show It Anymore
The two boys were downstairs eating the breakfast David made fairly quickly as they didn't want the eggs to get cold.
"So what's your family like?" Levi asked while eating his toast.
Craig looking up at Levi while eating a piece of bacon. "Uhh.. you heard my sister on the phone. She's like me, she doesn't give a fuck about what others think. She's an animal lover like me. She tends to flip people off without her even knowing it. It's funny seeing her confusion as she looked down at her finger and always says, "Oops, instant reaction to me not giving a fuck."
Levi nearly choked on his food as a loud laugh escaped from his lips. "How old is she, 25?" He guessed.
"She's 19." Craig bluntly said.
Again.. Levi was left dumbfounded.

"Wait, shes only 19?!?!" Levi screamed out expecting her to be older than Craig.
"Uhh yeah she's 4 years younger than me."
"Wait, was she always like that? Even when she was younger?" Levi asked while trying to imagine what Craig's sister looked like as he didn't think Craig would have a teenage sister.
Craig let out a lightly chuckle. "Are you kidding? At age 6 she got in that habit."
Levi was still stuck with the dots in his head trying to process what he just said. "AGE SIX?!?!"
"You know the more your yelling, the more my head is pounding." Craig said while placing two fingers on his temple.
"Sorry.. Your telling me she flipped people off all the time at age 6... How did she not get in trouble?"
Craig chuckled again. "Man, your in for a surprise when you see my parents."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"Ohhh just wait and see."

As the two boys approached Craig's house. Levi noticed Craig was silent the whole time. Looking over he could see Craig looking awfully timid. "Craig, you okay?"
Craig didn't say anything as if he was trying to hide his feelings again. Levi grabbed Craig's hand causing Craig to glance over at Levi. "Don't be scared. Their your family, they will understand. I'm guessing you didn't tell them I was a guy, huh?"
Sadness showed in Craig's eyes as he nodded.
Levi squeezed Craig hand. "It's okay. He can't hate you for something you can't control. I know you said he's a hard ass but.. I'll stay by your side." Levi said trying to pull off a reassuring smile.
Craig felt slightly relieved as he let out a large breath through his nose. Craig hesitated to open the door but forced himself to turn the door knob. The two walked inside while still holding hands.
"I guess their not home?" Levi asked while looking around curiously.
As Craig closed the door behind him a small voice could be heard from upstairs. "Craig is that you?" Suddenly a head peeked from up the stairs. Levi tensed as he wasn't expecting a red haired girl with blue eyes. 'No way that's his sister.' She quickly ran downstairs while skipping the last 4. She approached the two boys while looking at Levi up and down. Levi swallowed as he slightly worried how she would react. Craig remained quiet.
Ruby looked Levi up and down. 'Is this the one he got attached to?' Her eyes drifted to their hands seeing the loose string. A smile crept on her face as she looked up at her brother. "I KNEW IT!! I FUCKING CALLED IT!! I KNEW YOU AND TWEEK WEREN'T FAKING I-"
Craig quickly covered his sister's mouth of embarrassment. "Okay, okay, you met him now go back upstairs."
"NO, NO I'LL BE GOOD!!" Ruby yelled in Craig's hand. Craig groaned out as he let go of her mouth. She smiled so big while putting her full attention to Levi. Levi tensed as he wasn't expecting her to be so hyped. "Hi, my name is Ruby. I'm Craig's sister, it's so nice to meet you." Ruby said with so much positive energy in her voice.
Craig rolled his eyes as he wasn't amused by her chippy, bubbly act.
"Craig you didn't tell me you were dating a boy!!" She bluntly said while looking back at her brother.
"Keep talking like that and me and my so called boyfriend are going back to his uncle's house."
"NO, NO I'M JUST TEASING!!"
It took a lot for Levi to not cover his ears as her voice seemed to get more squeaky. 'God, now I remember why I'm interested in guys.'
"I know your teasing and you better knock it off before we leave and also stop fucking screaming Ruby. Jesus Christ the neighbors can hear you." Craig groaned while holding his head as it was throbbing.
"Okay, okay. What are you and your friend doing here? Do you have any plans?" She asked with the word 'friend' in a teasing manner again.
"Well we were going to chill out in my room and avoid you. I'm still thinking highly of that idea."
Without thinking Ruby flipped Craig off toward his comment. "Well mom and dad will be here soon so don't be too loud fuck boy." She said in a different tone and a sudden switch in personality.
Craig was unfazed as he flipped her off to her stupid nickname. Levi was left speechless to the new act his sister was giving. 'I'm so fucking confused.' Suddenly Craig tugged Levi's hand as he guided Levi to his room. When they go in the room Levi looked around slightly shocked. His eyes fell on all the posters in his room. Specific Rock Bands along with one poster of a midnight sky full of stars. 'Well that explains why he wanted to go to the science museum and look at that star display. He must like outer space or stars in general.. Maybe we going go star gazing.' Levi continued looking around not realizing how nosy he seemed. He stopped himself when he saw a bookshelf with photo album book. Levi couldn't help but smile as he snatched the book. Without him even thinking about it. He yelped as he felt arms wrap around his chest so tight. He tensed as he realized Craig was stretching his other arm out to grab the book. Craig didn't want Levi seeing any embarrassing pictures. This didn't stop Levi from trying to sneak a peek. He stretched his arms out while trying open the book. At that moment something he didn't expect happened. Levi burst out in laughter as Craig began tickling his ribs. "Stop, Stop!!" Levi managed to say through his heavy laughter.
"Put it back."
"NEVER!!"
"Fine, have it your way."
Levi quickly threw the book on the bed while grabbing Craig's hands off his ribs but Craig only got more forceful. He practically threw himself on Craig's bed after the book. Levi flipped through the first page, he noticed Craig try going after him yet again. Levi held his feet out to stop Craig. Craig wasn't fazed as he grabbed both feet while spreading them. Levi's eyes widen as Craig got on top of him trying to pry the book out of his hands. Levi peeked at one picture before Craig could take the book away completely. Levi's heart sank as he saw something he didn't expect. A younger picture of Craig with a group of boys. 'I recognize Clyde and Token. Who are the other two?' At that moment the book was snatched from Levi's grip. He looked up at Craig.
"Your awfully nosy." Craig said while tossing the book off to the side of the bed.
"Who were those other two?" Levi asked not knowing if he should have asked.
Craig tensed as he didn't want to think back. He let out a loud sigh. "The one with crutches was Jimmy. We lost touch when he moved during Junior High."
"And the blonde?" Levi asked nervously having a small idea who it was.
Craig's heart was shattering by the second just thinking back on his ex-friend. Letting out a finally shaky breath, Craig swallowed the knot that quickly formed in his throat. "His name is Tweek." Craig spoke in a somber tone. "We... used to date, but the two idiots in my group got in my head when we were going into High School. They said gays are the number one target and they thought it would be best if me and him split. I didn't care what they thought but... I don't know why but when they threatened to toss me out of the group due to it, I.. acted out of shear panic. People ended up picking on Tweek because his shakiness and speech impediment. I got so fucking tired of the bullying. I was exhausted as I CONSTANTLY fought upperclassmen to defend him. I lost so many fights, I was getting so tired of constantly falling on my hands and knees. It felt like the more I lost, the more I was losing my true self. I was so weak as I was just a simply freshmen in the school. I was fresh meat and I didn't want to admit it. The two convinced me to let Tweek go as they slowly and carefully pulled him out of the group. I was forced to watch as I didn't want it to happen but... I was so tired of protecting him. After he left the group that's when we were blinded by popularity... Around that time, you moved to the South Park and I..." Craig stopped himself from speaking.
Levi felt his stomach ache as he could see the pain in Craig's eyes. Craig was still hovering over Levi with his hands placed on the bed next to Levi's face. "Craig.." Levi said while suddenly feeling wetness on his face. Levi's eyes widened as he saw Craig was trying his best to hold back tears but was failing to do so. Levi felt tears build up himself seeing Craig in this amount of pain. "Craig.. Knowing what you went through.. I don't even care what you did to me in the past." Levi said while holding up his hand wiping Craig's tears off his cheek.
"I don't deserve this Levi... I don't.. I'm a terrible person.. I.."
Levi didn't think as he refused to hear anything more. He lifted himself with his elbows placed on the bed. Levi softly placed his lips on Craig's. He felt Craig tense in surprise but shortly after melt into the kiss. Levi closed his eyes feeling nothing but bliss. As Levi snuck his tongue in Craig's mouth he felt more tears fall on his face. Still caressing Craig's face Levi slowly leaned on his back while feeling his whole body relax. However their lips never left one another. Small breaths escaped as they proceeded to a small make out session. Levi felt as if his body was taking full control. His hand softly placed on Craig's chest while feeling slightly curious. Levi had no control over his hand as he lowered it down to the end of Craig's shirt. Levi hesitated to escalate further. His heart fluttered as he felt a strangely strong but gentle hand grab his wrist helping guide his hand under his shirt. Levi's breath was taken the moment he felt his finger run across Craig's abs. Craig let out a breath himself as he hasn't felt this touch in so long. Suddenly there was a loud knock at the door.
"Craig, mom and dad are pulling in the driveway." Ruby warned.
Craig's heart jolted as he didn't even think about it. 'Shit... Thanks Ruby. That would have been awkward.'
