After sailing for about ten minutes, the ship finally came out of the sky filled with thunderstorms and headed for the clear blue sky. The water was calm, but Luffy could feel the ship picking up speed. He stood up and walked to the side of the ship, looked at the water, and saw the water currents moving fast with the ship.
"Finally, in about a few more minutes, the current should be too strong to control," thought Luffy as he stared at the water. Suddenly, the voices of Johnny and Yosaku made Luffy forget his thoughts.
"BIG BRO!" they shouted from the watchtowers, getting the attention of Luffy and everyone else. "MARINES!" they shouted, pointing to the front of the ship. Luffy stepped forward and saw a whole fleet of about 25 ships sailing towards them.
"Looks like they really don't want me to re-enter the Grand Line," Luffy said with a laugh.
"What are your orders, captain?" Nami asked as she and Nojiko ran towards Luffy. Luffy smiled before he answered.
"Sail towards them," he said, causing their eyes to all widen. "Johnny, Yosaku, get off there and take over from Usopp," he said, causing the two of them to get off the top and head for the wheel. Usopp came out and looked at Luffy for orders.
"Usopp go to the cannon in front and start aiming at their ships. I'll take care of most of them," he said, causing Usopp to nod before heading below deck to prepare the large cannon that was below the head of the ship. Nojiko and Nami went to the two cannons that were on the upper deck and started firing at the fleet.
"What are you going to do, Captain?" Sanji asked as he walked with his captain and Zoro towards the front of the ship. Luffy laughed before answering.
"Something I'd love to try," said Luffy before jumping on the sheep's head and looking ahead. "It appears that this fleet is from branch 8 base, meaning this is Commodore Nelson's fleet," he said. (This is from One Piece, the movie where there is a girl who can talk to dragons.) *Forgot title*
"Is he strong?" Zoro asked.
"No, he's just really fat," Luffy said with a chuckle as he watched as Nami, Nojiko, and Usopp managed to hit three of the twenty-five ships.
"Luffy," Sanji said, getting his attention. "Look behind the marine; there's a storm coming towards us," he said, causing Luffy to look up and see storm clouds right behind the marine.
"It's not a hurricane," he said, causing them all to stop and stare at him. "That is the entrance to the Grand Line," Luffy said, causing their eyes to widen. Luffy then clasped his hands together as if he were praying, with his elbows sticking out, and started focusing on his devil fruit powers.
As he did so, electric blue sparks surrounded his body, and the sky darkened with thunder rumbling overhead. Luffy then looked at the Fleet Marines with narrowed eyes before he shouted.
"Thirteen Heavenly Pillars!" Luff screamed, causing thunder to roar, before thirteen pillars of lightning shot out of the sky and hit the thirteen sea ships, causing them to explode.
Everyone stared at Luffy's attack with their jaws dropping to the floor except for Sanji and Zoro, who were starting to notice that Luffy could do some unbelievable things and weren't surprised anymore after watching him destroy an entire island. Luffy then looked at the remaining nine ships before he spoke.
"Make sure to leave one ship untouched, Usopp!" Luffy shouted.
"Aye Captains!" Usopp shouted back from below deck before continuing to fire on the marines. Luffy then looked at Nelson's flagship and smirked before pulling out his sword and aiming it directly at Nelson's flagship before enveloping his entire blade in lightning. Luffy then uttered his attack in a cold, emotionless tone.
"60 million volts of thunder dragon!" he says. As he said that, a gigantic dragon made entirely of lightning shot from the tip of his blade and charged towards Nelson. The dragon made contact with the front of the ship and immediately blew the entire ship into a million pieces.
Luffy then looked around and saw that there was only one ship left from the entire fleet, and he sailed away from Luffy and his crew toward starting to approach Luffy. Luffy then jumped back onto the deck of the ship and gave an order.
"Raise the sails; the current will be strong enough to carry us in," he said, causing Zoro and Sanji to nod before running to tie up the sails. Nami and Nojiko went to look at the map to help Johnny and Yosaku steer the ship, while Luffy walked and stood on the main deck, looking ahead at the entrance. As the ship sailed toward the entrance, they sailed through the wreckage of the fleet they had just destroyed.
There was dead wood and marine debris everywhere. As they sailed past, Luffy looked up and saw Nelson struggling to stay afloat on a piece of wood.
Luffy took out his gun, pointed it at Nelson's head, and pulled the trigger, causing a small bolt of lightning to shoot out and penetrate Nelson's head, killing him.
"Luffy! In front!" Nami shouted to get Luffy's attention. Luffy looked ahead and saw a giant wall that stretched high up into the clouds.
"It's the red line!" Luffy shouted before he walked over and stood by the door where the rudder was. "Keep the ship steady, the entrance is ahead!" Luffy shouted.
He could hear Johnny and Yosaku struggling to keep the wheel steady. Sanji and Zoro came and stood next to Luffy and Usopp, watching as they approached the giant mountain.
Luffy then summoned some thunderclouds and had them surround the ship to create some sort of buoy or shield in case they crashed into the Red Line.
"Luffy, I don't see the entrance!" "All I see is a giant wall in our path!" shouted Nami.
"See that little crevice in the mountain?" Luffy asked while pointing at a small gap in the mountain.
"Yes, I saw it," said Nami. Luffy threw the binoculars at her before he spoke.
"That's the entrance," said Luffy. Nami then looked through the binoculars before she spoke in disbelief.
"I can't believe it, the current is actually flowing up the mountain," she said before handing the binoculars to Nojiko.
"Keep the ship steady, everyone, and aim for that gap," said Luffy, pointing ahead.
"AYE, BIG BRO, CAPTAIN LUFFY!" everyone shouted, causing Luffy to laugh. As they got closer, everyone could see a clear entrance. They all saw water flowing up the mountain, and right at the entrance, there was an arch across the canal. It was then that Luffy noticed that the ship was tilting to the right.
"We're off track! Sweep the wheel!" Luffy shouted.
"Strive to the right!" shouted the bounty hunter duo before they started pushing the wheel as hard as they could. With very strong currents, it was very difficult to steer the ships, so they had to push as hard as they could. It was then that everyone heard something that made their eyes widen.
Prak was the sound that filled the air as the rudder snapped. Luffy stared at the broken rudder with wide eyes before turning his head forward and seeing that they were about to crash into the side of the canal.
He immediately calmed down when he remembered he had a cloud over the side of the ship just in case something like this happened. The Going Merry hit the entrance side of the canal, with the clouds absorbing the impact energy and deflecting the ship just before the current pushed it into the canal.
Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as they started climbing Reverse Mountain.
"WE DID IT!" Usopp, Johnny, and Yosaku shouted as they started dancing.
"Now drive straight from here to the top," said Luffy before he walked over and sat on his throne and watched his crew survey the scenery. They all had big smiles on their faces as the ship rose higher and higher.
"We're in the clouds!" Nojiko said in amazement.
"No, we are above the clouds!" Sanji said as the ship rose higher above the clouds.
"I can see the peak!" Johnny said while pointing ahead. Ahead of them, they all saw where the currents of the four seas met and flowed into the Grand Line.
It was a beautiful sight to behold: four streams crashing into each other, splashing water into the air, which immediately froze and turned into ice, and when the sun shone on the ice, it looked like diamonds shining in the sky.
The Going Merry rode the waves perfectly and entered the canal that led to the Grand Line.
"There it is, the biggest ocean of them all," said Luffy as he stood up from his throne and walked forward towards the balcony on the upper deck. "Grand line," he said as he looked out with a smile on his face.
