Chapter 1004: Guilty Brother

Unaware of everything that had taken place outside the mansion, the family of four seated in the Parlor was glad to see the youngest's hand returning to its original state.

They had been holding their breaths a while ago and now finally felt their nerves relax after witnessing how Yvonne's hand had regained a healthy color rather than the deep black tone it had been previously.

"I never expected this from you, Chesnut!" Howard grumbled as he glared at his etcher with darkened eyes, displaying his disappointment and his anger whenever he thought of what could have happened if things had taken place differently.

If he had not pulled his etcher back at the right moment and if Demon had not poured his aura into Yvonne's body, allowing it to physically manifest after sensing the danger around her, his younger sister could have lost her hand.

Just thinking about such a gory sight caused the young boy to shudder in fright.
