PHOEBE'S POV

We stood there awkwardly shuffling around and looking at the ground.

Ooh, that rhymed.

Anyway, we both didn't know what to say. Elly, and I didn't really have any problem. It's just that we both wanted a break. She went through a rough break up and well, I had... issues. Which were definitely dumb. I regret it so much. My heart clenched when I saw Caroline laying on the bed unconscious. She is this, bubbly, cute, ball of happiness and seeing her like that was... painful.

"How've you been?" Elly was the first one to break the silence

"Um... fine... How about you??" I asked back

"Peachy"

"Hmm" I hummed

Then there was this awkward silence again.

"Honestly, let's just cut the crap. I'm sorry for all this trouble. I was dumb. And heartbroken. I shouldn't have done this. I'm sorry" she said in one breath

"Yeah, and I'm sorry too. I was stupid, and naive. How could I think like that about Caroline?" I asked myself
