Chapter 19: Night Event (4)
As I waited for the sisters to finish their meal, I finished my cup of coffee and got refills. I need to inform Futaba-san about them.
I took my phone out of my pocket, and opened up my contact list before pressing on Futaba-san's number and sent her a text.
'Futaba-san, I may have caused some trouble.'
Ding!
Instantly, I received a reply as if she was waiting for my text.
'What is it?'
'Erm, I kinda got myself involved in an incident, I'll explain the rest later when I get home.'
'Okay, I will wait for you.'
After sending a series of texts to Futaba-san, and seeing the cute emotes she used, I put my phone back into my pocket.
It seems like the sisters are almost done eating. I'll probably just call a tab instead of running around on people's rooftops.
When the sisters finished, I paid the bill as we left the store. I lead the way out of the mall, while the sisters walked behind me.
Outside, I called a cab and got in when it came two minutes later.

After just ten minutes, we arrived at the mansion I call home. When I got out of the car, the driver looked at me and gave me a big thumbs up as I paid his fare.
I think he's misunderstanding something here. Actually, he might not be.
"Your house is pretty big."
"Yea, for five people it is quite big."
"Well, let's enter."
The two sisters nodded as they followed me inside the gate after I unlocked it with my key. Of course, it would make sense if I entered through my window since that's the way I came out, but with these two behind me, it's not going to work out.
When I opened the door, the first person I saw was Stella.
"Welcome back, Hiro-sama."
"Err, thanks. Does everyone already know?"
"Yes, Lumiere-sama went to your room and knocked on the door. Seeing that you didn't reply, she entered your room only to see you missing."
Err, what, she entered my room? Sure I didn't lock it but… Why was she looking for me anyway? I wondered.
Suddenly, I could hear footsteps bustling about.
"I'm back, Lumi."
"Uhm, welcome back."
Lumiere's expression changed suddenly. It became somewhat cold, I could tell she was looking at the two behind me before staring back at me.
Yikes, that sent a chill down my spine. Could it be that she really likes me? I didn't plan on a harem… Just having a girlfriend is already quite a headache… If you include Lumi along with the sisters…
Just thinking about it is giving me a headache…
Just as a warzone was about to explode, I could see Futaba-san coming down the stairs. Looking at her, I nodded my head, as she spoke.
"Now, now, let Hiro-kun explain the situation, come to my office."
I followed Futaba-san up to her office along with the two sisters. It seems like Lumi insists on staying outside the door since she can't come in. Since she thinks she can listen from out there, let me pull a little trick.
Snap!
With a snap of my finger, I used a noise suppression spell around the entire room. Now, the things being said inside this room will stay inside this room.
Futaba-san sat in her chair and gazed at me. With her back straight in her comfortable looking chair, she spoke.
"Now, Hiro-kun, you have some explaining to do."
I nodded as I began explaining the situation.

After I finished, Futaba-san sighed. While I was explaining, it seems like the sisters, as well as Futaba-san, knew each other.
Apparently, a while back, she went to the kingdom of Arcadia and met with the Duke as well as his two daughters. She also explained my relationship with her, as the sisters became surprised, but at the same time, they didn't seem that shocked.
It must be because they think I'm strong or something. Well, I guess you could say that. If they are considered to be level one, then I would be about level thirty-five as an example.
Of course, I plan on bringing them along with me to the dungeon at some point to get them up to speed. If they want to rescue their parents, then they will have to work hard.
Of course, since I'm not a demon, I won't be too hard on them. I think.
After explaining the situation to Futaba-san, she agreed to let the sisters stay in the mansion as well as enroll in the academy.
Knowing that everything was sorted out, I nodded my head in satisfaction. Now, the real problem comes, as soon as I step out the door, Lumiere might attack me.
Leaving Futaba-san's room by myself, I opened the door and saw Lumiere staring at me with a scary expression.
Behind her, Stella-san looked at me with pity as I felt kind of afraid at what may happen to me.
"Erm, hi there…"
"H-I-R-O-san!"
"Yes!"
I jumped and got on my knees. Wait isn't this breaking my character? All that time I spent trying to build up my character has all gone to waste at this moment.
Damnit!
"Do you know what you did wrong?"
"Kind of?"
"I mean, yes!"
I feel like a husband being caught cheating… Actually that doesn't seem right either, I wouldn't just be on my knees like this if I were..
Anyway, was she like this? If I remember correctly, even when the protagonist was surrounded by girls, she didn't react like this.
I guess you really can't compare a game to real-life huh?

For the next twenty minutes or so, I listened to Lumiere's lecture and didn't retort. When Futaba-san and the sisters came out, they giggled at my situation before leaving.
After my scolding, I went to my room to work out before taking a shower. After the shower, I brushed my teeth then went to bed for the night.

The next morning, everyone sat by the dining table for breakfast. It seems like the sisters will be coming later, so Lumiere and I walked to school ourselves.
Sitting in the classroom, I spotted Saito Ren staring out the window, looking lonely. Sitting behind him, I patted his shoulder.
"Hey, why are you looking so lonely?"
"Ah, hello there, Hatsume-kun, I'm just thinking about some things. Besides, it doesn't look like anyone else wants to be my friend."
"No friends? If the guys don't want to be your friend, then make some girl friends? With a space in between girl and friend, by the way, unless…"
"Ah, stop talking nonsense! Anyway, if no one wants to be my friend, just having you two alone is enough."
"I'm your friend too?"
Lumiere asked.
"Of course, I consider you my friend. Unless you don't think the same way?"
"No, no, of course, I feel the same way."
"Well, if you're fine with us, then I guess that's okay."
I hear whispering from the other side of the classroom while I was sitting in my seat.
"Hey, hey, did you hear that we are getting a transfer student in our class? I wonder if it's a boy or a girl?"
"I hope it's a girl, a beautiful one. Even if I can't date her, just by being around her, I would be happy."
"Go die, hentai."
"Die."
Hmm, a transfer student? There weren't any at this time in the game…
Wait, transfer?

As I was thinking to myself, I hear the classroom door being opened. Onee-chan walks in and slams the table softly.
"Okay everyone, please welcome our new transfer students."
Transfer students? With an s? That means…
Step. Step.
By the door, I saw two familiar faces coming inside the classroom, wearing our school's uniform.
