Chapter 6: THE TRIP
Noelle's diary:
January 5.
Dear diary. I'm so excited today cause today is the first day of school tour. I showered and blow dried my hair and put it in a claw clip. I wore a black flared pants and beige sweatshirt. I picked up my bag and went to the dining area where I had my breakfast with my mom and dad. Then, dad gave me a lift to school and I got to know that Derek won't be going.
I got sad but eventually, Sarah and Adam came and made me happy. We got into the bus and once it started driving, everyone shouted like crazy. Music started, all of our friends and classmates started dancing and singing.
Then there was me, in a window corner thinking about Derek. The bus ride lasted a lot, everyone were tired and sat on their own seat. My classmate Sunny sat beside me and rested his head in my shoulder, YO DUDE THIS SHOULDER IS ONLY FOR DEREK.
I thought he was too tired so I didn't say anything and let him be. While I was just thinking about how fun the trip would be if Derek joined, someone clicked the picture and sent to Derek without me noticing.
After we got to hotel, I told Derek about whatever happened in today's trip including Sunny resting his head on my shoulder. He was sad and upset and I didn't even know why.
I got to know that he had got the news about me cheating on him with Sunny(which is false) by certain someone but we sorted things out cause we ain't like those couples who breakup after misunderstandings.
The night went on with my girl friends gossiping and spilling teas. But all I could think about was this trip to finish and meet my boy.
Bye diary, I think I'm going to sleep.
January 9.
The 4 days trip ended so fast that Ididn't even know. Every possible games played on trips were played. Ghost stories, pranks, watching teachers embarass themselves, classmates secret romance, some confessions, fashion show, lost items everything happened.
By lost items I also lost my bracelet that was given by Derek to me as one month anniversary gift but doesn't matter cause I found it later on.
Now, we're heading back to capital. I was so excited to go back to capital rather than exploring another day in new state and leaving my boy alone and overthinking. We haven't talked since first day of trip.
Finally, our flight was delayed an hour later and now we're going. I'm going home to my love.
