Chapter 22: Jealousy?

Simon readied the prince for his engagement party. He had a smile on his face, but deep down he wasn't sure if he was happy that the prince was getting engaged, especially to Rosaline.

He had taken three days to gather his thoughts and really think his emotions through. And had come to the conclusion that he might actually like Lucian. However, he didn't know if these emotions were romantic, or if this was the feeling one got after getting a friend that genuinely cared for them.

"Is there something else you need, Lucian?" Simon inquired of the prince who busied himself with watching the starry sky.

"Do you ever get tired of living, Simon?" Lucian returned, his voice calm and devoid of emotions.
