Chapter 7: Memory
The ghost girl said "This will be a different type of game. every time we get a match in the cards you will see the others memories. when the game is over whoever has the most matches will absorb the others memories."
Eric asked, "What happens i you lose?"
"You will be stuck here for the rest of time."
System: this sounds like a fun game be sure you don't lose because if you do we will both be stuck here for a long time.
Eric thought, "Are you being nice to me that's a first."
System: no but if you lose I will be board for a long time.
"That's a comforting thought, just think about all that time to contemplate how you could be nicer." Eric thought as he said, " OK let's play."
The ghost girl had Eric sit across from her then she laid the cards out.
"You can go first." she said
"very well." Eric said as he reach for the first card. as soon as he touched it he wasn't at the the table anymore.
"Elisabeth where are you?"
"I'm in here!" Eric said.
Eric realized that he was living the memory of Elisabeth.
"That's where you were. I been looking for you for a while now. we have to leave they will be here soon."
"Who?" Eric asked.
"The evil wizard." she said as she grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the house.
Eric noticed that there was black smoke rising from the other side of the farm.
" Mom is there a fire? Eric asked.
"Yes, dear that's why we have to leave." she said as she looked pale.
they quickly made their way into the forest where they watch in horror as people dressed in black robes burned there home and killed their cattle.
"Mom who are they?" Eric asked.
"They are the evil wizards." she said not taking her eyes off of the Burning farmhouse.
Eric found himself sitting at the table holding a card.
"How do you like my memory?" Elisabeth asked.
"I'm sorry about your home." Eric said.
"OH, so you got to see that memory, it looks like it's my turn." she said as she grabbed a card.
Eric watched as her eyes glassed over and she didn't seem to be aware of what was going on around her

"That's not as bad as I thought." Eric said as he popped the pill into his mouth and passed out.
when Eric came too the room was spinning and his head felt like his head was split into two.
"System what happened?" Eric asked.
"The name is Elizabeth not system and you completed the trial.

To think after five hundred year someone finally completed the trial. if I knew that I would suckered into becoming part of this thing he calls system I wouldn't have let him do the trial. so now that I am part of him, I can see that his luck has improved.
