Chapter 31: something supernatural
Marcy deep in thought laying in bed.
The pack all cooked dinner that night, they spent the entire evening laughing and talking, Storm even came back to enjoy a meal with the pack and Ian says that doesn't happen often. The pack made a joke that bothered before they left it apparently bothered storm as well, or someone said something they shouldn't have. It was something about me tricking Ian into loving me with my singsong. Like what does that even mean?
singsong", Ian?" Ian huffs clearly not prepared for the conversation at hand. Marcy can read as much and sits up feeling a necessary conversation coming on. "It's really nothing, Marcy. It's just...umm... So storm is the alpha and he has a gift at reading people. He thought you were a supernatural being, though you clearly aren't is all. So some of the guys said whatever it is that is giving off the supernatural essence in you is what was drawing me to you, like a beacon. But you aren't a werewolf we know that already and you clearly aren't a vampire or any other supernatural being that we have ever come across. Storm even said he must have been wrong. They were just joking but they should have never said anything." Marcy is unsure of his answer "are you sure that's all?" Ian chuckles "I assure you it's nothing, you are just normal ole Marcy, the girl I love."

He said it...he said it too. Do I say it back, is he trying to distract me or trick me. Why wait until now to say it and why do I feel like he's hiding something from me. He might not be lying to me but he's clearly not telling me the whole truth.
"I love you too..." Marcy curls into Ian's lap like a tightly wound cat while Ian wraps his arms around her embracing her.
* Marcy
"you know, Im pretty sure I told you there is witch in my family tree somewhere. Do you think that could be it?"
* Ian
" I do recall you saying that. Like I said I don't think it's anything but if it were it could be something like that. I just don't see how anything could be powerful enough to draw me to you and us not see it or know what it is. I think that the guys were just full of sh*t and trying to get under our skin. maybe because they don't agree with how we got here in the first place"
Marcy tilts her head to see Ian's face still laying in his lap."You're probably right!"
