Chapter 88: the sorrow of a mother
"Daughter! Daughter!" her voice was heard before she could be seen. Lyra rushed to the side of her daughter, neglecting proper decorum upon seeing her daughter lying still face first on the floor.
Lyra looked at the pool of blood where her daughter had fallen face first into. Instantly she felt herself panic upon discovering how still her precious daughter laid. It felt as if something had abruptly been torn from her that was exceedingly important. The crashing of water, which usually is calm and settled could barely shake her gaze from her daughter's still form.
"daughter mother is here, it is OK.. "
Thunder rolled while lightening flashed. What had been a beautifully calm day; became a dark and eerily one, seemingly demonstrating the emotions the first mistress felt.
