Clyde took a long sip from the goblet on the table and watched Evelyn eat her dinner. He had so many thoughts running through his mind at the moment, but he did not dare to ask any questions. He was still on edge about Prince Andrew's behavior, and he knew that eventually, people would start to pay attention to Evelyn, but he hoped to keep them away for longer.
"Is something bothering you?" Kallista asked in the silence of dinner.
Clyde raised an eyebrow at her, "no," he replied sternly.
"I see," Kallista hummed and took another bite of her meal.
Clyde nodded and then finished the contents of his glass. He had no intention of entertaining Kallista. It was already bad enough that she knew that they were mates, he did not need her meddling in his affairs as well.
"I think we are almost ready," Kallista said. "I will stay for another week and then at that time, I will leave," she announced at the table.
