Chapter 7: ... The Blind Date...
Hans tied up his horse to the tree, then he headed to the lake.
Rose was watching him carefully.
He started taking off his clothes, Rose's face turned red immediately.
" What is he doing?"
she tried to cover her eyes, but she couldn't resist watching his upper body muscles
" wow, His six-pack and his wide shoulders are perfect, what am I doing, watching him like a stalker, I must leave as soon as possible "
Fortunately, he kept his pants on then he threw himself into the lake.
" So, he came here to swim, the weather is kind of hot, I wish I can do the same"
Hans was enjoying the refreshing water while Rose was stuck on the tree, she remembered that she forgot her head cover beside the rock
- I can't take the risk to leave now, he may see me and disqualify me from the contest, I will wait until he leaves first. I hope it won't take him too long, my legs are starting to numb
After a while, Hans went out of the lake, Rose couldn't take her eyes off him despite her numb legs.
He wore his clothes then he headed towards his horse
" Finally, he will leave, I can't stand this anymore"
He was right under her, she even held her breath out of fear of being revealed, but that was too late. Hans raised his head and glared at her. Then he suddenly kicked the tree with his leg. It was very strong that it shook the tree and made Rose fall.
" What the hell is happening? How did he find about me?"
Hans caught her before she reached the ground.
She covered her face immediately with her both hands.
- What are you doing?
- You didn't see my face, do you?
- Is that how you say thank you?
- What? Thank you? You are the one who made me fall.
- You were spying on me, from the beginning.
- You knew about me from the beginning?
- Yes...
- Why you didn't say anything till this moment?
- I was waiting for you to make your move.
- What move? What are you talking about?
- Are you going to play dumb after I expose you?
Rose became more frustrated
- I don't know what are you talking about, please leave me alone, I need to go back.
- Why were you watching me all this time?
- I came here first, when I heard your horse I was afraid that you were chasing after me. So I hid, that's all.
- Do you know who I am?
- No, why would I know who you are..can you put me down, please?
" Is she telling the truth? Well, it didn't seem like she is an assassin. I was surprised that it was a girl"
He put her down while she was still covering her face.
" What if he forces me to show my face? Damn it, I can't even hold my sword"
She suddenly heard the horse's neigh, she took a glimpse. And he was already gone.
