Chapter 73: Responsible

Sir Kit stood there without any expression but his heart was beating faster. He did not know how to control his expression.

For once Sir Kit was happy that the mask hid his expression. If he would have been facing the Princess then she would have laughed at him. His expression would have given him away.

Sir Kit looked at the Princess as he took a step back but he could feel the strength of the Princess increase on her hold. With much reluctance, Princess Eleanor left Sir Kit's chin as she looked at the man with blame. 

"Why does it matter to the Princess?" Sir Kit said once he had created a certain distance between them. His eyes looked at the vial in Princess Eleanor's hand as he said, "Will Princess Eleanor give me the perfume only when she knows this answer?"

Princess Eleanor laughed. Her eyes narrowed as she shook her head. She was here for something else. She never wanted to ask this question but she did not know what got into her.
