Chapter 44: Status Quo
Besides, I wasn't in a hurry, either.
Out of all of Asura's choices, I was the most fitting to be her lover.
Just look at my irresistible charms, my almost extreme worship towards her, my devotion towards her, my status… I'm too well-suited for her. I'm the one she's searching for!
None of the other girls can ever compare with me.
And as for the boys… in truth, I was quite worried that Asura's heart will be stolen by one of them.
Or perhaps Asura will be pressured into a relationship due to that curse placed upon the higher nobility of Loen.
In this case, I couldn't confront Asura's parents nor Asura herself, so I had to be shrewd and confront Asura's possible fiancés.

I would have a reason to stay close to Asura, I would be able to spend as much time as I wanted with Asura, my placing in Asura's fan club will increase, and I would render none of the boys or girls unable to work up the courage to confess to her!

With that said, I made ample preparations, going undercover with another identity,,, and gently contaminated the students of The Golden Rose Academy—not with my charm, but with the magic of certain works of art, such as my fanfiction and manga.
After reading them, not just the boys, but the girls too will have an image in their mind, the perfect image of a certain illicit relationship that I may have with Asura.
Combined with our seemingly close relationship in real life, the image will be further strengthened.
You see, this is the key to all my plans.
With this, people will naturally leave Asura and me alone while giving us looks filled with perverse understanding.
Then, the boys will leave Asura alone, unable to peel their minds away from the beautiful scenes they daydreamed about.
And even if one of them worked up the courage to confess, they'll be destroyed and cut up into minced meat before even reaching 5 meters from Asura.

And so time idly passed by, with me inching closer and closer to Asura each day, becoming so familiar with her that her eyes no longer held me at a distance.
