While Raon and Lia were still inside the house, several assassins had been hiding in plain sight near the place since they arrived there using the tracker.

The only thing stopping them from attacking were the guards patrolling nearby this house, but they were aware that there would be a blind spot in the next five minutes, making them wait.

Just as they were waiting, some cultivators arrived, and the guards seemed to be paying respect to him as the guard captain led them and entered the house first.

The assassins weren't idiots to not understand the young cultivator's motives and were getting ready to kill everyone inside to get their hands on the target.

Yet just as they were about to enter the house, as they had already neared it, they heard loud noises coming from inside, like an argument.
