Chapter 64: New spirit potential

 After a long time, Drake opened his eyes. The bright light made him squint for a moment, but soon he got adjusted to it.

The white ceiling on his head with the soft sensation of the bed below made him relieved. He sighed in relief that he was sleeping, nothing else.

After all that, he did not want to sleep anymore.

Kane's voice came, [Good morning.]

<mm. > He nodded and rubbed his hands on his face, especially above his right eye, trying to detect the wound, but there was nothing on his face.

He did not stop there and checked his chest, finding no deformities there, took some deep breaths, and even after all that, he felt no pain while breathing.

He pushed himself up to sit on the bed and started touching his chest and back, but no matter how much he pressed, there was no churning sound.

He rubbed his forehead and asked in confusion, "I am not dreaming, right?"
