Chapter 94: Fix This

Naya's face drained of color as the boy immediately pointed her out to Donovan. She had hoped to cross paths with him, but certainly not like this.

Why had he even come? She was so confident that Donovan would never show up, as he tends to be busy during this time of the day. But he was here?

"You little – stop making things up because the Alpha's here! When did I ever threaten to hit you?" Naya snapped, her tone biting as the boy continued to glare at her defiantly. Her eyes darted towards the man before her, a desperate edge creeping into her voice.

"Don't believe a word he says – his sister put him up to this. She told him to lie to you." Naya accused, thrusting a finger in Esme's direction.
