Chapter 909: Jane Doe Part 3 of 5
Bei Tian's heart started racing as she looked at the woman who was also staring straight at him. How could this be? His eyes traveled towards the chains that were on the woman's arms and legs.
"Mr. Bei… that is not my mother." Kai's croaky voice woke him up from his stupor. He immediately squinted before he nodded.
"Who is she?"
"I don't know." Kai shrugged. "We found her bloodied outside of the colony. To be exact, my son found her. She was unconscious but alive. There was a lot of blood in her clothes but she didn't have any wounds on her body. At first, I wasn't planning to take her in but she— she looked like that. So I… I got curious."
"Did she attacked anyone? Why is she in chains?"
"She had episodes and would just start screaming and pounding her head. She said her head hurt a lot. And then she would lose her consciousness and when she wakes up, she could barely remember what happened."

TheBlips I am so sorry for being away fro so long. I had a lot of stuff going on. I am healthy, physically. But my mental state was pretty bad in the past few weeks.
I lost 2 cousins this year. My anxiety has gone up because of the current pandemic. Then the storms came and I watched as a mother cried and hugged the dead body of her 2 year old son.
I just felt... so sad and broken and alone. For some reason, I didn't talk to anyone else and just spent a lot of time holed up in my office.
I had to take a break from writing a lot.
But I am feeling a bit better now. I started going out and went to a pool and mall and had coffees in a coffee shop! I know it sounded silly but it made me feel a little better.
