Chapter 47: Something is wrong

Calix and his group got to the palace. A guard stopped them at the gate. "what is your business here?",

"take us to the king", Calix commanded. The guard nodded dumbly like he was in a trance and took them to the king.

The king was having dinner in the dining room when the guard arrived with a odd looking group of people. 

"who are these people and how dare you bring them here while I am having my dinner?", the king queried in anger.

"You may go", Calix told the guard. The guard nodded obediently and left.

The king stood up, incensed with anger, "what insolence! How dare you come here to command my guards?",

"sit down", Calix commanded. To the king's horror, he found himself obeying Calix.

"who are you?", the king asked. Calix handed him a letter, "you sent a letter stating that you needed our help".
