Chapter 63: Chapter 63 - Conclave

Xavier's alpha shift almost blinded everyone. Even the vampires were mesmerized by his appearance. His raven-black hair was floating with the palladium crown glowing on top of his head.

Xavier's hands shifted into claws till his forearm. They were glowing, with the front extended into a swordlike structure.

"Why involve the other species when everything you want belongs to me, after all," Xavier said, extending his sword towards the ancient vampire lord.

"Are you challenging me?'' Lord Cardis asked calmly.

"Isn't it the best resolution? Defeat me and take everything you desire. However, if you lose, you must return to your eternal sleep, giving back the vampire kingdom to Lord Alexander," Xavier said.

Lord Cardis unexpectedly broke into laughter. He raked his fingers through his long, silver hair.
