Chapter 50: Floodgates (ep10 s3)

Summary: Tensions reach their peak as Vivian's plan to flood the warehouse becomes a life-or-death situation. As the water rises to the ceiling, Willow is forced to make a heart-wrenching decision: stay loyal to Vivian or save herself and the TSP. The episode ends with Willow making the difficult choice to leave Vivian behind, forever altering the course of her life and the series.

Scene 1: The Rising Tide

Location: Inside the darkened warehouse, where the TSP is trapped.

The episode opens with the TSP searching for a way out. The warehouse is eerily quiet except for the faint sound of dripping water.

Luna: (whispering) "Do you hear that?"

Ash: (nodding) "Yeah, something's not right…"

Suddenly, water begins to trickle into the room from the walls, slowly at first, then faster and faster.

Raven: (panicking) "The place is filling up with water!"

Tux: (urgently) "We need to find a way out, now!"

They rush to find an exit, but the water level is rising quickly. Vivian's voice echoes through the warehouse, cold and calculating.

Vivian's Voice: "You've all been such good little pawns in my game, but it's time to raise the stakes. Let's see how well you swim, Tux."

Scene 2: Trust Betrayed

Location: The control room overlooking the warehouse, where Willow and Vivian are watching the TSP struggle.

Willow is staring at the TSP through the glass, clearly uncomfortable as she watches them fight for survival. The water is rising rapidly, reaching waist level.

Vivian: (casually) "They're resourceful, I'll give them that. But in the end, it won't matter. None of them will get out of here alive."

Willow glances at the emergency button next to the control panel—the button that can open a hidden escape door and drain the water.

Willow: (hesitant) "Vivian… maybe we should stop this. They're not a threat to us. They're just… trying to survive."

Vivian turns to Willow, her expression hardening.

Vivian: (coldly) "Stop? Are you forgetting who's in charge here, Willow? They're all expendable. They don't matter."

Willow's eyes narrow as she realizes the truth: Vivian doesn't care about anyone, not even her. She's just been a tool, manipulated from the start.

Scene 3: The Turning Point

Location: The control room, tension thick in the air.

The water is now chest-deep for the TSP, and they're struggling to stay above the surface. Vivian continues to watch, unfazed, but Willow is torn.

Vivian: (dismissively) "Don't let their struggles get to you. It's just nature taking its course. Only the strongest survive."

Willow stares at the TSP through the glass, seeing the desperation in their eyes. She can't stand by any longer.

Willow: (firmly) "No, Vivian. This isn't right."

Vivian turns to her, surprised and angered by Willow's defiance.

Vivian: (icy) "What did you say?"

Willow: (growing bolder) "You don't care about anyone but yourself. You've been using me—using all of us. But not anymore."

Willow reaches for the escape button, but Vivian blocks her path.

Vivian: (snarling) "You're not going anywhere, Willow. You belong to me."

A struggle ensues between the two, with Vivian trying to stop Willow from reaching the button. Willow finally manages to push Vivian back, slamming her against the wall.

Willow: (breathless) "Not anymore."

Willow presses the escape button, and the hidden door in the warehouse opens, draining some of the water and giving the TSP a chance to breathe.

Scene 4: The Escape

Location: The flooded warehouse, water pouring out through the escape door.

Tux sees the open door and quickly leads the TSP to ward it. The water is still neck-deep, but it's beginning to recede. As they reach the door, Willow appears, soaked and looking conflicted.

Tux: (surprised) "Willow?! What are you doing here?"

Willow: (panting) "I… I'm getting out of here. I'm done with Vivian."

The TSP hesitates, unsure if they can trust her, but there's no time to question it. They all rush through the door, heading for the exit as fast as they can.

Scene 5: The Final Decision

Location: Outside the warehouse, near a large window overlooking the inside.

Willow and the TSP make it outside, drenched and exhausted. They all stop, catching their breath. Inside the warehouse, the water is still rising, and Vivian is struggling to stay afloat as the water reaches her shoulders.

Willow looks back at the warehouse through the large window. She can see Vivian inside, frantically trying to find a way out.

Vivian: (shouting through the glass) "Willow! Help me! Don't leave me!"

The water level continues to rise, now reaching Vivian's chin. Willow's hand hovers over the window, torn between her past loyalty to Vivian and her newfound realization. Tux, Luna, Ash, Sparrow, and Raven watch her, waiting to see what she'll do.

Willow: (whispering to herself) "I'm sorry…"

With a final, painful decision, Willow shuts the window and turns her back on Vivian. The water reaches the ceiling, and Vivian is left with no escape as the room fills completely.

Scene 6: Aftermath

Location: Outside the warehouse, the sun beginning to rise.

Willow stands with the TSP, looking back at the warehouse one last time as the sound of rushing water echoes inside. The group is silent, processing what just happened.

Tux: (softly) "You did the right thing, Willow."

Willow: (barely audible) "Then why does it feel so wrong?"

Luna places a comforting paw on Willow's shoulder, and the TSP begins to walk away, leaving the warehouse and Vivian behind. As they disappear into the distance, the camera lingers on the warehouse, the water still inside, before fading to black.
