Chapter 56: Chapter 56 - Snatching the Bell
"My name is Uchiha Toshiro, and I'll be eight in a month. I like to quietly read books and soak in hot springs alone. I hate trouble. My dream is to experience different sceneries of this world, taste the finest delicacies, and meet different beautiful young ladies! And befriend them!"
"Huh, Toshiro's dream is really grand, isn't it?"
Upon hearing his last student's unique dream, Uchiha Jumasa didn't know how to respond for a moment and could only let out a sigh.
[Thinking about making friends with lots of beautiful young ladies at such a young age, won't this guy become a little perv in the future?]
Even the usually unperturbed Yan and Zhe widened their eyes, mouths slightly agape, looking at Toshiro in disbelief.

"Eh! The bell-snatching test again? Sensei, this test is too old-fashioned, isn't it?"
Upon hearing this, Toshiro complained. From what he knew, both the former Sannin (Three Geniuses) and the future protagonist group had undergone this activity. But isn't this too clichéd? Aren't there any new tricks?
"Eh! Old-fashioned? To be honest, I don't have much experience as a guiding teacher, I learned this from my own teacher!"

With a robust punch into his palm, Uchiha Zhe said energetically.
"Okay, you can come at me now..."
At this moment, Uchiha Jumasa stood in the middle of the training ground, smiling at them.
"Don't attack yet, let me go first. This is a man's honest duel!" Charging ahead, Uchiha Zhe declared boldly (⊙o⊙).
"Nani?"
In Toshiro's heart at that moment, ten thousand alpacas were running wild. He never expected that in the proud and astute Uchiha family, which was famous for its meticulous nature, aside from Obito, such an oddball would emerge, and it was his teammate!
Even the usually expressionless Uchiha Yan couldn't hold back. With fists clenched and a forehead filled with black lines, veins faintly popping, he quickly switched to a smiling expression when he noticed Toshiro looking over.

He couldn't figure out how Yan could fancy Zhe, as their personalities were too different, almost polar opposites in their day-to-day behavior.

Seeing the enthusiastic disciple, Jumasa-sensei didn't discourage him but instead laughed loudly and encouraged him.

With a passionate response, Zhe didn't pause. He drew a shuriken from his ninja tool pouch and shot it toward Jumasa-sensei.
Yan and Toshiro exchanged glances and retreated to the side, leaving the field to the two of them, watching their performance quietly from the sidelines.
Facing the incoming shuriken, Jumasa-sensei showed no sign of panic without taking out a kunai to block it. Instead, he extended his hands, fingers gathering chakra and flicked lightly.
Then a chain reaction happened. They saw the shurikens shot from Zhe's hand collide multiple times with Jumasa-sensei's fingertips, changing directions like a bouncy ball with no fixed pattern.
In an instant, the dissipated kinetic energy from the colliding shurikens scattered all over the ground.

[That move was brilliant!]
Observing the whole performance, Toshiro couldn't help but lament. Even without activating the Sharingan, Uchiha Jumasa's observation skills surpassed those of average Jonin.
"Indeed, not simple!"
Not discouraged by the failed attack, Uchiha Zhe, now holding kunais in both hands, exploded with chakra from his feet, charging towards Jumasa-sensei at high speed, hoping to make a breakthrough with Taijutsu.
Facing the fierce and deadly kunai attacks from an opponent of this age, Jumasa-sensei remained calm. Dodging an attack to the side, he stretched his right hand, slipping a finger through the kunai's ring at its end, and with a gentle flick, took the weapon from Zhe's hand.
"Swipe! Swipe! Swipe!"
With nimble movements, the kunai danced like a butterfly through Jumasa-sensei's fingers, creating mesmerizing patterns, making it hard to predict his attacks.
Taking advantage of Zhe's distraction by the kunai, Jumasa-sensei blocked his attack with the kunai in hand, wrist twisting to direct the weapon towards Zhe's wrist. If Zhe didn't let go now, the outcome would be quite unfortunate.
Reluctantly releasing the kunai, Zhe, now empty-handed, didn't sit idle. Twisting his waist and lifting his leg, he delivered a fierce roundhouse kick targeting Jumasa-sensei's waist.
"Whoosh!"
Jumasa-sensei elegantly flipped forward, leaping over Zhe's head gracefully, moving behind him, evading the attack while capturing an opening.
"Damn it!"
Yelling out, Uchiha Zhe didn't surrender despite having his back's weaknesses exposed. Utilizing his relatively smaller stature, he crouched down, sweeping a leg to catch Jumasa-sensei's lower body.
