Chapter 62: For Her

The giant serpent lunged at him and Izekiel coughed blood as he staggered back. His sword was raised, a vast magical ring of violet that defended him was shaking, and something felt oddly familiar about his attacker.

Izekiel's shield gradually ruptured, the aura surrounding the serpent was changing and there were hints of something that he knew too well.

He didn't understand it well, but one thing he knew was that Nesrin was trying to hinder the fight. It sounded impossible for her to do, but he knew and he had seen the potential she held within.

His eyes turned wide before the other serpent freed itself from a hundred spears and violently sprang at him.

Izekiel's mind was distracted by all the worst possibilities that could happen if Nesrin was somehow involved with those serpents, he couldn't dodge when the sharp canines dug upon his shoulder.
