Chapter 74: Kneel Before Power(3)
"I-I don't have my stamp with me."
"That's not a problem! I'll have Mr. Hu follow you to get it. Don't even think of doing otherwise, your daughter's fate lies in your hand!"
Hu Tsao face was an emotionless mask as he assisted the woman to her feet. The two slowly made their way upstairs to where Liu Anna kept her stamp.
"That stupid woman! She and her daughter think my son is like any other man?! Do they know what I went through to have him in the position where he is?! Those greedy fools had better think again!"
It took less than ten minutes to locate where Liu Anna's stamp was in her room, before they began making their way downstairs where Hu Tsao's boss was impatiently waiting.
"Here, I have finished signing the papers. I'm only signing it because you promised not to harm my daughter."
There was pleading in the tone of Liu Anna's voice as she spoke to Duan Yili who was going through page after page of the document to see if there was anything that was left unsigned.
"When did I promise you anything?! I need to get back to the office."
Liu Anna's mouth widen in shock, staring morosely as the two walked out of her home without sparing a backward glance.
