Chapter 9: cave exploring
Once my foot hit the floor two bugs jumped up at me aiming for my face i couldn't use magic because it would take too long so I brought up my left arm to block one and headbutt the second one into the floor the grabbed the first one with my right arm and ripped it in half. I conjured up some vines to take the carcasses back to where the doll was so that they could take care of the enemies ahead since I'm not used to magic I'd like to practice some skills. As I'm walking there are a lot of corpses. I don't know if the unconscious werewolf did this or if the thing or person I'm looking for did or if there's nothing down here and it's a big waste of time.
Let's stay optimistic and hope it's not and that there's a person down here. After about ten minutes of walking, I found nothing and I still didn't know if there was anyone down there. Since I'm a tree and a part of earth then I should be able to use something similar to magic sense but through the earth, I have no idea how but I think it has something to do with the three things: the eyes, brain, and core if I have one. When thinking about this the first thing that comes to mind is to root in place and concentrate on finding something inside of the cave or a source of some sort. As I connect my roots to the ground and feel more than I did before in just my body but as I connect I can feel everything from the bugs walking and the rugged breathing of a human. Now I know that it's down here at least so let's take a shortcut. While I'm still rooted I use earth magic to make a circle on the ground around me and the werewolf and I go down kinda like an elevator. As I reach where they are, there's a wall in front of me and normally I would just punch it down but I don't want to hurt them so I'll use earth magic to open up a way. Once the way was open I unrooted from the spot and walked forward.
