After the sparring session, Kai sought out Sophia, eager to share his thoughts. "Sophia, your husband is incredible! His skills are on a whole different level."
Sophia blushed, a hint of pride in her voice. "Ah, yes, Ryker was a B-rank adventurer before he retired and became our inn's chef. He's still got it, doesn't he?"
Kai's eyes widened in surprise. "A B-rank adventurer? That's amazing! I can see why he's so skilled."
Sophia smiled, her expression warm. "Yes, Ryker has always been talented. But enough about him, how about your brother, Zac? Have you seen him lately?"
Kai's gaze drifted off, thinking. "Actually, I was wondering where he was. We were supposed to meet up, but he never showed."
Sophia's expression turned knowing. "Ah, I think I know where he might be. He's been spending a lot of time at the town library, studying and researching. He's really dedicated to his craft."
Kai's eyes lit up with interest. "That sounds like Zac, all right. I'll have to go check on him later."
