Kai and Zac's eyes widened in surprise as they discovered Leo's true identity. "You're the son of Sophia and Ryker?" they asked in unison.
Leo smiled, nodding. "That's right. And I heard about how you two helped my mom during her troubles with the Hooligan Guild."
Kai and Zac exchanged a look, feeling a sense of pride and gratitude. "We're just glad we could help your mom in her time of need," Kai said.
Zac added, "And now your son has saved our lives from the Fangborn. It's like a full circle of kindness and bravery."
As they handed the rare herb to Alexis, she congratulated them on completing the request. With their mission accomplished, Kai, Zac, and Leo walked to the inn owned by Sophia and Ryker.
Sophia's eyes lit up as she saw Leo, and she rushed to embrace him. "Welcome home, my son! We're so proud of you for helping Kai and Zac, the same young adventurers we once helped."
Ryker smiled, clapping Leo on the back. "Welcome back, son! We heard about your bravery. You're truly following in our footsteps."
Leo grinned, his eyes shining with excitement. "It was nothing, Mom, Dad. I just returned the favor."
Ryker's face lit up with pride. "Good job, Leo! I'll make your favorite dish to celebrate."
As they sat down to eat, Leo regaled his parents with tales of his adventure, highlighting Kai and Zac's bravery in facing the Fangborn. Sophia and Ryker listened with wide smiles, their hearts full of joy and gratitude.
