Chapter 1: beginning and uncertain fate
As my master shoves me In front of him witch is something I'm used to by now even when I was young I hear him say "I hope this goddess can help you repent for your misbehavior" I sigh as I look up and see the white marble seeing a winged female and a marble sculpture of a wolf on the top of the temple I let out a small gasp as I see a person with dark wings disappear near the top of the temple "come on!" my master growls at me and pushes me again I don't speak as I nearly trip on my chains that bind my hands on the marble steps this god's name is Shinalin. My eyes fly open as I take a side step stopping myself my servants all stop and look at each other all knowing the same thing my demon Retra rests herself on my leg. "Is everything alright? My friend?" Sanka asked me as I Look up and lock eye's with her she gasps silently but dare not look away "someone of interest just entered see then to me in a bit will you" she nods "but first" I say as I stretch my wings as dried blood chips of off them slowly "I need to get this guck off my wings and" I briefly hesitate as my servants await my instructions "open the worship gates for me will you" I finish and walk away.
"darn it" my master utters in annoyance as he had led me to a set of wooden doors with were closed as he continues to mutter I gaze around until I see two maidens one with red hair and the other with light brown hair both of them had their hair length up to their shoulders they were both dressed in what looked like silk "s-sir" I managed to muster as he noticed them he hit me in the head I yelped 'ow' as the two maidens grab the rope door handles and open the doors lead to a small in wall cabinet filled with items that represent the goddess the red haired maiden sighs briefly and approaches us tension fills the air as she stood a few feet away from us "if you would be kind we don't support violence here alright" her voice was calm she was staring at my master clearly waiting for a response "yes alright" he almost growled at her. Her look just softened as she nodded to us and they both walked away. I watched them for a bit as they left a wolf with cloudy red eyes and a pearl white coat approached us we both froze as well as other people around us the wolf stared at me as its ears flexed and it started to growl I noticed that its eyes became bright glowing red from being cloudy the wolf pounced up at me making me yelp and fall I close my eyes as I feel I could feel the chain around me was being yanked and tugged on as I open my eyes I see the same wolf but its pelt color dark grey as it snarls and tugs at my chain my master tries to stop the wolf but not before it succeeds at shattering the chain from my neck to my hands stunned I look at the wolf it shakes its pelt returning to its white appearance and its eyes fade out. "What are you-" my master swears under his breath as a voice interrupts him making him look up "the goddess is asking what is taking so long Retra." The other maidens seem to whisper around us for they came to see what the growing was about.
The wolf seemed to chuff slightly as it eye's the one chain my master is holding witch is connected to my wrists it step away from me and walks in front of him with a quick movement the chain from my masters hands is in the wolf's mouth. "hey!" he remarks as he tries to get the chain back from the wolf as it pulls me up a stairwell to where the maidens ascended from what I can see as I get pulled the other maidens follow. When my master is able to grab the chain I am able to get a look at my surroundings a few feathers are scattered on the ground as I look at my master's expression huh?
"Well why have you come surly you have more of a reason than that child's behavior and that you almost attacked Retra my companion and servant" the voice was kind but harsh in a way as I look at the person who had spoken it's the g-goddess took a back for a second I gaze at her appearance she is dressed in a silk dress similar to what the maidens wear except on her waist is a sash that appears to be pulled tight as her white wings look wet briefly she smiles at me kindly "well I'm waiting" she comments once more as my master clinches the chain tightly his entire body clearly tensing up the goddess sat straight up "you attack my slave and know why I'm here so why don't you get on with it already" he snarls as the goddess stands up and walks up to his face and says "listen I know what your mind is saying so how about we make a deal " she finishes as my master grips her shirt collar quickly as he speaks "I won't wait for a spoiled girl to do something that I can do myself" the goddess eye's narrowed as she seemed to speak annoyed "let.Go.Of. Me." "Why should I?" my master answered as he tighten his grip on her collar "why?" She repeated "the reason is –Retra" she called out as the wolf who had been staring at them for several with bright red eyes suddenly transformed into a large scythe witch landed in her right hand all the goddess had to do was move her hand forwards "do me a Favor and look at your shoulder for me" she paused as my master saw the tip of her scythe. His eyes widened as he loosen his grip "why is that why is that I don't show you how annoyed I am!" she growled he had let go of her as the goddess took a half step back "goddess you know we don't support violence here" a blond maiden her hair seemed to be braided as she looked more aged as well "Sanka not now" the goddess spoke mildly darting her gaze over to the one maiden and back at my master "and why not?" she spoke with a sigh as the goddess tension seemed to just disappear as she looked at the maiden shock her head "you know what I give" she said as she slammed her scythe into the ground put her hands up and walked a few steps away the wolf transformed back its pelt pitch black as her glowing red eye's start to dim out as she stares at the goddess "that's it I'm out!" the goddess exclaimed and spread her wings drops of water fly off them as she did a single flap and was out the window in less than a second.
"you could have let her get angry you know" a female's voice spoke it sounded like two rocks grinding on each other "and why do you say that Retra?" Sanka I think the goddess her asked she appeared to be talking to the wolf "because she missed her prey earlier" the wolf turned its head to the side in order for the maiden Sanka to see her. Sanka seemed shocked and dipped her head slightly "hind' you" the wolf seemed to growl as Sanka looked behind her to even my own surprise the goddess was there. Sanka and the other maidens seem to jump as I draw my attention to my master who has been silent for the past serval minutes. With a quick motion the goddess hit Sanka lightly it looked like she was just used to it "I have a guest Sanka please." the goddess spoke as she tilted herself to the left with a hand on her hip "but of course" was Sanka's only reply as she showed the other maidens who were watching and they all left up the staircase as the goddess sighed "My Friend, my friend ,my friend" she seemed to half mutter to herself "now" her attitude seemed to change completely "were where we?" she had asked looking at my master. It has been several minutes now I have sat down in wait while the goddess and my master seemed to bicker back and forth as I let out a small sigh the goddess speaks "look I am the goddess of favors either do something for me or not" the goddess was stern with my master looking down I hear his reply "I need recompensation for any deal goddess " "Re-" the goddess started to say stopping herself making her face weird "compensation" the goddess seemed to sneer as it seemed that the air around her grew dark the wolf Retra took a few steps back from the goddess her eye's wide and her ears flat as if in fear. the goddess let out a heavy sigh as the air melted away and she spoke with a determined look "you really want me to target you cause the way you are talking 'her voice grew deep as she looked fiercely angry' I Will Target you and Destroy you!" she finished as she sighed seemed to keep a annoyed aura with her Retra did not come any closer to the goddess. "look we can continue this little farce for over a thousand years and I know you don't have that kind of time." as my master seemed to step forward in response Retra the wolf charged at my master striking his hand making him let go of the chain as I stood up Sanka touched my arm "common follow me please you must be tired." "why you" my master growls as I was led out of the room when the goddess said "listen either you agree to something or I kill you here" I was out of earshot when he responded but I was led to a room with fresh fruit donuts and a few long chairs they look luxurious to me as Sanka applied a ointment on the bruises on my wrists.
The goddess came in clearly angry as she dragged her scythe behind her, with an effort yell she slammed her scythe down into the table that held most of the fruit on it splitting the furniture in two as a few maidens ran over to Sanka "that impudent!" she growled as she spread her wings and flew up a tunnel in the middle of the room.
