Chapter 60: Hurt

Olivera's POV:

I held my breath, my heart threatening to beat out of its cage when I saw the drastic change that occurred on the Alpha's face, immediately after my question. The playful, teasing and naughty look that had been on his face all these while had evaporated into thin air. Now, what had taken its place was a mask of anger and fury, an exact replica of the Alpha I had met at first. What had happened? Did I ask the wrong question? I wondered, unconsciously biting my lips. Was his family a sore subject?
