Chapter 25: Chapter 25: A Slight Reconciliation

Lily and Jasmine entered the meeting room, and Rayan was on the phone. He placed the phone on his ear and walked back and forth. When he saw them entering the meeting room, he left it to talk outside.

Lily did not like his attitude, but she did not want to show it to Jasmine as she knew that Jasmine was angry and willing to yell at Rayan.

Rayan kept talking over the phone for almost five minutes. Finally, when he entered the meeting room, he apologized. “Sorry, it was an urgent call.”

“It is fine with us. Time is not important to us. We are here only for a graduation report. It is you who have more important things to do.” Jasmine said so with a dominance smile.

Rayan ignored her comment and went on discussing work-related issues with them. He was acting calm, but you could tell he was irritated.
