In the following days, Rayan spent every afternoon with Sue. They had lunch together every day. Still, Rayan was not the person Sue knew and loved. He was less enthusiastic, less optimistic, less energetic, and above all, weirder and mysterious.
Sue decided to stop overthinking, and she convinced herself that Rayan was going through rough times. This should not mean that he stopped loving her or was trying to leave her. Life is not centered on me; Sue convinced herself with this notion.
Sue decided to enjoy this week to the fullest because, as Rayan told her earlier, it might not be easy to meet again once he got back to work.
Despite Rayan's weirdness and all that was going on, Sue was happy because she had a chance to meet Rayan every day. Since he started working, they met only once a week, sometimes once two weeks. So, she considered this week her lucky week.
Rayan and Sue were having their lunch when he asked Sue, "Have you ever considered being an artist as a profession?"
