Mimi and Dreevindo told her what Athan did while the three of them looked at the cloudly screen to the lookout in case any rift portal opened near them. 

According to Dreevindo, multi-colored portals are more common, and it's been five minutes since they came out of the previous rift dimension. So, one should appear around them anytime.
