After the discussion that they had, Matteo had to leave for an urgent meeting… at least that was the excuse that he gave to run out immediately. Stella was somewhat unhappy since they had just reached a milestone in their relationship, and she wanted to bask in it – because a part of her still felt like everything was surreal.

She had fixed up a bath for herself, and was now sitting in it, sipping on a glass of wine. She was living the ideal life, and it was only moments before she'd wake up, back to her reality.

She shivered at the thought of returning back to Nolan, raising her hand to study the goose bumps that had formed on her body. Where was he now? Since the night that she made the decision to leave, he hadn't tried to reach out to her in any way. Has she been given the chance to live?
