She thought to herself, panicking slightly as she met his steely gaze on her, raking her with a sort of reprove. Before him, she felt like a kid that her done something wrong, but was being spared – except in her case, she did not think she was going to he spared. Was it the playful nature of the client toward her that had gotten him this pissed? She could almost sense his fury palpitating in the air around them. She could literally feel herself suffocating in it.

"How did you feel flirting with the client?"

Stella did not want to believe that the question was directed at her, but they were the only two in the elevator, which only meant that he was talking to her. there was a distinct ringing in her ear that signified her brewing anger, and she needed to do something about it.
