Chapter 118: Lightning Strike

Alice and Melany left the workshop after placing their order, they now had to either pay the lady in money, or with the requested monster parts. As the wind slowly blew across the street, Alice turned toward Melany.

"You head to the general store and get the rest of what we need. I'll go hunt the monsters." She smiled.

"You'll go alone?" Melany sighed, "At least take me with you. What will I do here, just buy what remains and wait?"

"I'll be back quickly. It won't take me that long." Alice took a deep breath, "See you in half an hour." She bolted away, her speed far surpassing that of a racing horse. Melany gasped, "She's fast, look at her…" She then turned to head toward the nearest general store.

One step after another, Alice masterly avoided everyone in the street as her eyes darted around, looking for steel. After just a second, she reached a part of the street where two shops had massive iron signs hanging above their doors.
