Chapter 1: Prologue

Darkness that's all there is, and inside this dark room there was a soul in the shape of a 18 year old man. The soul was so dark people would think the abyss was blinding light compared to it.

The soul had no idea how he ended up here instead of dead but he knew from the voices outside the room where he was going.

The soul could hear the voices outside saying "We must imprison that thing and never let it reincarnate again." All the people outside seemed to agree.

When the soul heard this a frown appeared on his face. He didn't want to be sent down wherever they were sending him, it did not sound like a good place.

Abyss, that sounded very lonely

It was indeed his fault though, he committed crimes on the multiversal scale and he brought many universes and the governing people to their knees.

It was all fun and games until he was caught and when that happened the captors didn't hesitate to destroy his body and extract his soul right at the moment of capture.

When they tried to destroy his soul after destroying his body. The captors were met with a big surprise.

It was indestructible, and thus before he could regain consciousness they brought him to a dark room filled with seals.

They needed to think of a punishment and the next best thing that they thought of other than destroying his soul was imprisoning his soul in the abyss for eternity. That was the only punishment that they could give him that was remotely equal to all the crimes he had committed.

As the sentence was finally being decided upon, a thunderous roar was heard and an unknown force pulled the soul out of the room and into the vast space.

By the time the people outside the room realized the soul was gone the unknown force had already brought the soul multiverses away from his original location.

The soul was delighted with what just happened and decided to let the force take him away, not like he had any choice in the matter anyway.

The force literally had enough power to break through all the seals and pull him at insane speeds.

Years had passed when the force had finally brought the soul to his destination. When the soul looked around he saw a humongous palace equipped with many things he couldn't identify. He was so surprised that he went around the palace looking at all the scenery.

The palace was surrounded by weird looking trees of all colors and gardens filled with even weirder looking plants. He looked around until he had his fill and made his way to the door.

When he arrived at the door he cautiously opened it and went in silently. He was about to look around the house when a man appeared in front of him causing the soul to flinch backwards.

He could only identify his gender not the age of the man in front of him. The main reason that the age was unidentifiable was because the man was slowly becoming mist. Thus blurring the body of the man.

The man finally spoke and he said "Hello the time has come for you. I have only one gift remaining and you may not like it. Do you want it?"

This stunned the soul. He had so many questions to ask but he was to afraid ask any. If the man could easily pull him out of the room and bring him here how strong must he be. Thus he kept all the questions to himself lest he asks something he wasn't supposed to.

When he finally pulled himself together he slowly opened his trembling mouth for an attempt to speak. However, not a single sound escaped his lips.

The soul ended up just standing there and staring at the all powerful being in front of him. He was trembling from the expecting gaze of the man.

The man wanted an answer to the question he asked

After an awkward silence the man said "so be it" and snapped his fingers.

Following the snap he lost consciousness.

"For your life to have been that miserable, I feel for you. In the end I might as well give you the loving family you always wanted. You will need them as your gift will also cause you suffering." The man said as he was peering through the memories of the soul.

The soul was then beamed out of the palace and into the body of a baby in a womb.

When the soul finally regained consciousness he once again had only nothingness in his eyes.

'I knew it was too good to be true'

He thought he was still in the room about to be sentenced.

He felt like he was being moved and then all of a sudden, blinding lights appeared in his vision and a loud masculine voice saying "It's a boy."

Right when he heard that he was so happy he cried tears of joy. To the outside world it seemed like he was just crying like a real baby but it was actually crying from pure happiness.

He then felt someone grabbing him. At which followed a soothing feminine voice almost as if it was a singer saying "We will name you Blake."

The woman who spoke and the man standing right next to her were both filled with happiness from the birth of their third and final child.

Blake was also happy, he finally got a name and the thing he wanted most.

A family

The moment didn't last long as he lost consciousness once again. He woke up and saw a sealing.

He then tried his best to look to his side where he saw other babies and from what he could tell advanced technology.

He was getting a little too excited from seeing all the new things around him that he completely forgot of the small screen a little off to the side.

He looked at it and saw a countdown of 14 years and nothing else.

This must be the gift the man gave me'
