Chapter 1609: The Wrath of the Military Department

Easton Thorpe had once vied with Gage Wyrick for the position of sect master, ultimately losing the contest. 

Despite being slightly weaker than Gage, he remained a formidable force.

"Sect Master Thorpe," an old man spoke, "now that everyone is here, can we begin?"

"No rush," Easton replied with a smile. "When my junior brother arrives, I'll have a big gift for you all."

Curiosity piqued, everyone speculated about Easton's intentions, but he kept his plans shrouded in mystery. 

However, it was clear that whatever he was plotting would not be favorable to Braydon Neal or the entire Northern Army.

The individuals present on the mountain peak were all incredibly senior members of their respective factions, each one possessing immense experience and influence. 

The gray-robed elder from the Fallen Pavilion, a grand elder, cupped his hands and asked, "Sect Master Thorpe, may I inquire about the nature of this great gift you have prepared?"
