A lone figure stood upright between the Heaven and Earth.
Feng Qingzi's face was gleeful. He couldn't have misheard that voice! It was the voice of his dear disciple!
However, when he took a closer look at the figure standing there, Feng Qingzi's face changed entirely once more.
"Haha! Cruel, to think that you could have killed that human." When Saint caught sight of that figure, he smirked.
"Feng Qingzi, that disciple of yours is dead now. All of your hopes are dashed by now!" Saint laughed out wildly. Even though in his heart, Cruel was nothing more than a piece of trash, it shouldn't be an issue for him to kill an ant like human given his strength.
It was just that…
"Cruel, why did you stop my attack?" Saint demanded in a harsh tone.

Lam_ Okay, a few things to explain for this chapter. If you guys were confused over the first part of the chapter in terms of dialogue, Cruel was actually explaining that Lin Fan was still able to unleash a part of himself despite being devoured. That’s the reason why the Female Empress and the Namo Saint Emperor felt Lin Fan’s consciousness protecting them from the blow before disappearing as Cruel mentioned that it’s all dealt with.
Next, the term used for Lin Fan to say ‘Leave with your mother’ is actually a Sichuan slang this time round. It could be cruder but I’m too decent for it hurhur. Also, when he said to help him ‘last hit’, this was a slang term that is used in Dota when players would ask their support players to help attack the a creep once to secure their last hits. Cheers!
