Chapter 46: Meeting Ibiki
"I am Ibki Morino your worst enemy and I am also your proctor for the first exam."
Shiro felt the entire class shiver from the exclamation.
[Killing intent detected.] the system's voice spoke in his head startling shiro.
Both Naruko and Haku looked at him in concern, he reassured them that he was fine but inwardly he was thinking.
I Didn't think I would have actually forgotten about the system, I just didn't want to have to depend on that for everything.' Shiro thought. He was kind of glad the system wasn't really sentiment otherwise he would have felt extremely guilty.
"You six sound and mist-nin better calm down, unless you wanna get kicked out before the chunin exam even starts."
That held out an immediate response, "Sorry about that, we just got carried away sir,."
The sound nin that attacked kabuto first said.
Shiro recognized him from the anime as Dosu.
"Right," he turned to address the rest of the shinobi, "well there will be no fighting without getting permission from the proctor from now on, do I make myself clear?"
Everyone nodded their heads quickly in response.
"Good, now let's begin, each team will bring to us their paperwork and will be given to them a number."
Shiro looked at Naruko's expression, it seems like she was calm, if she didn't have her parents memories she probably would have panicked, at the concept of a written exam. Actually no, I most like;y would have taught her the second I finished learning the language.
Another chunin held out a sheet of paper and she remained impassive. Although she raised an eyebrow when she caught Shiro stealing glances at her.
"Anything wrong?" Naruko asked.
"Nothing just thinking." Shiro responded back with a smile.
After we got seated which took little to no time at all, Shiro had figured out the purpose of this test and didnt really bother with doing anything.
It was the same with Naruko, Naruko looked at him, Shiro nodded back at her with a small smirk, Naruko smirked back, but Haku looked confused and worried, until Naruko told her the secret of this test. Haku nodded in understanding before she did the same.
Ibiki had noticed this and his eyebrow twiched in response. He walked calmly till he was face to face with shiro, who blinked at the sudden evasion of privacy.
"Can I help you?" Shiro asked, wearing a blank expression.
"Yes, you can actually." Ibiki growled, "you can start by doing your test."
"Nah, I've already figured it out." Shiro shrugged.
"Really...?" He asked, shiro nodded before Ibiki turned his gaze to the two girls that were besides him.
" and I guess you to figured it out as well?" Ibiki was amused, the brat must have told them
They nodded, "Its really easy to figure out, if you actually think about it." Naruko told him smiling.
'Hmph, so these genin are not as stupid as I thought, either that or they are bluffying, or had given up.' Ibiki thought.
