Chapter 9: Second Wife
Inside the Adventurer's Guild, 3 people are standing in front of the receptionist desk. These 3 youngsters are Shinichi, Reina, and Esri. Reina's Guild Card is now in the process, she was already done checking her Magic Attribute and Magic Capacity. Reina has 5 Attribute which is earth, water, wind, fire, and lightning the receptionist and Esri are shocked by this result of course it includes me. It means that she can learn almost all kinds of elements. My Reina is talented not only in the assassination but also in Magic.
The receptionist said that there are only a few who has 5 Attributes. Reina's Magic Power Capacity is 5x larger than the person who has only had 1 attribute After the receptionist finished the process of Reina's Guild card, she gave it to her and explain the basic ranking and the use of the guild card, the same thing she explained to me last time.
"This is your guild card, you are now one of the adventurer's guild members. Congratulations." Kiara said
"Thank You." Reina Receive the Blue Color card, Rank C.
'I can't believe that within two days I will be able to meet this two-monster couple.'
The receptionist was dumbfounded because this is the first time in her life that she encounters something like this and it is in this small city.
"Excuse me, I wanted to ask the two of you but if you don't want to answer it you can just ignore it." Asked by Kiara
"Sure thing, what is it?" Shinichi Replied.
"Where did the two of you come from?" Kiara asked a question.
"Hmm… I can't tell you my wife's background because it is too complicated but I can tell you mine. I live in the forest of Jura. I live there with my master for 17 years." Replied Shinichi.
"Forest of Jura? I thought the only ones living there are only ferocious magical beasts? How did you live this long?" Asked Kiara.
"Well, my master is strong even the king of the magical beast living there is scared that he didn't want to go to our house." Said Shinichi casually.
'So that is one of his secrets to became this powerful swordsman, he lives and treated the dangerous place as a training ground for him.'
Esri said to herself while looking at Shinichi with fervor and praise.
"I see, maybe that's the reason why you are strong despite your one attribute."
"Yes," Shinichi replied.
"What? Do you only have one attribute? How is that possible?" exclaimed Reina and Esri.
"There, there I also have the same face like the two of you hehe. He only has one attribute but his Power capacity is greater than Reina-Chan because the crystal broke when we tried to test his magic power capacity" Kiara said while giggling.
"How about you Esri what is your attribute you don't want to join the guild?" Shinichi asked Esri.
"I, I also only have one Attribute." Said Esri shyly
"What? Really?" Asked Shinichi.
"Yes, but my power capacity is the same as Reina the crystal ball didn't break like you," Esri said.
The receptionist became dumbfounded again. And stared at the 3 monsters in front of her. She suddenly said.
"Please leave me alone for now I can't take it anymore. It's too much for my little innocent heart. If I keep on being shocked every time, my poor heart will be in trouble." Said Kiara as she sighed.
"Alright then, sorry for shocking you too much Kiara-san. We will take some mission first then we'll leave." Said Shinichi in an apologetic tone.
The three of them went to the mission board and pick a mission to take.
"Let's see, D Rank Mission. west forest magical beast subjugation. 10 magical beasts called a horned monkeys. and the reward is 50 Gold Coins. I think I'll take it. We would be able to live for 2 weeks with these 50 Gold Coins" Shinichi said to Reina.
"It's fine Shin-Kun you can have the rewards for yourself I still have my own money that I earned from my assassination tasks," Reina said to Shinichi.
"Really? Okay then, how about you Esri?" Asked Shinichi to Esri
"It's fine I don't need the rewards. I will be the one who will pay you if I learned something from you." Esri Replied to Shinichi.
"Alright, I'll take this to Kiara-san and we'll leave," said Shinichi and went to the receptionist desk.

The west forest is a distance of 1 hour on foot from the city of Astraea. They enjoy the scenery as they talk with each other. Reina and Esri are now talking to each other that looks like they have already known each other for a long time, they are now calling each other as Sis-Reina and Sis-Esri. Shinichi on the other hand has a dumbfounded expression on his face because this is the first time that he saw Reina talk to someone without stuttering her words. After a long-distance of walking, they finally arrive at the west forest.
They advance towards the dense forest. When they are in a dip forest, they finally found 4 ferocious horned monkeys.
"Here's your first lesson Esri, close your eyes and feel the aura around me," Shinichi said in a teaching voice.
After hearing what Shinichi said. Esri did what Shinichi instructed her right away. She closed her eyes and started to feel the air surrounding her. Shinichi then grab the hilt of his sword, Shinichi's aura suddenly became chaotic. Esri was startled and opened her eyes, when she saw it she suddenly said.
"Swo-Sword Qi, and a Profound Sword Qi at that." Said Esri with a dumbfounded look on her face.
Shinichi on the other hand already done killing the 4 horned magical beasts. And the aura surrounding him suddenly became peaceful.
"Hmmm? do you know this technique?" asked Shinichi to Esri
"Yes, According to the ancient text, it is a peak God-tier Battle skill personally created by the Sword Emperor a long time ago, the description in the ancient text and the chaotic aura that you unleashed are the same," Said Esri in disbelief and excitement look in her face.
"Really? My master only said to me that this is a trash skill he created on a whim." Said Shinichi casually.
"Wha-What? Trash skill? Who is your master to be able to call this Godlike skill trash? this is a blasphemy to the sword emperor." Said Esri in an angry voice.
Esri has been looking up to the Sword Emperor and his skills like an idol. But this guy in front of him just called this Godlike skill trash. how can she let it slide just like that? She stared at Shinichi with an angry face.
"Oh! Sorry about that I didn't mean to anger you, it's just that I want to be honest with you that's all, just blame that old geezer then. Btw My master's name is Oda Ken." Said Shinichi in an apologetic tone.
"Please don't say it again next time, I was looking up to the sword emperor ever since I was a Kid and…."
Esri suddenly stopped her barking to Shinichi when she remembered what Shinichi said in his last sentence. She suddenly gets close to Shinichi and grabs his collar with her both hands.
"Wha-what did you say? What is your master's name?" Esri aggressively asked Shinichi.
"Ugh. You're too close. My Master's name is Oda Ken." Shinichi said.
"Real- hmmm….?" Esri's words were cut by Shinichi.
Shinichi did an unexpected action, she kissed Esri on her lips. Esri is startled and has a wide-eyed expression on her face. He didn't expect this to happen. Shinichi ended up the kiss and took a step back.
"awa, awawawawa, that was my first kiss. Someone took my first kiss. Awawawawa."
Esri suddenly hide in the back of Reina and she covered her blushing face as she muttered continuously like a broken doll. Reina on the other hand has a smiling face and looked amused.
"It was your fault I was enduring all this time but you keep on doing that," Shinichi said with a smug look on his face.
"Husband your face doesn't have a face of a victim, you look like a perverted villain who abused the innocent Esri-chan," Reina said with a teasing tone.
"Ugh… I'm sorry wife I was really enduring all this time and can't take It anymore. I don't know why I want to kiss her every time she did that. Some beautiful woman tries to do it to me too and nothing happened but when it comes to Esri there is an urge to do it. I'm Sorry" said Shinichi honestly with an apologetic tone.
Reina then shook her head and spoke. "It's the fine husband you don't need to apologize to me. besides I already considered Esri-chan as my second sis, I know you will be building your harem soon because you're a man who is soon will stand at the peak of this world. I won't be able to help you by myself, so I need my sisters to help me and combined our girl's power to help you." Said Reina smilingly with care and love on her face as she hugged Esri.
She then looked at Esri and whispered something to her ears. Esri then raised her head and looked at Shinichi with a blush on her face.
"Yo-you just kissed me. Please take responsibility." Said Esri shyly and covered her face again.
"Are you okay with me?" Shinichi asked Esri.
"Ugh. the truth is I've been feeling this for a while now when we first met. My heart always aches when I saw the two of you flirt with each other and when you praise me it felt different from the others it makes me happy. I don't know this feeling at first then I asked Reina about this and she confirmed it. I thought I was sick at first but the reason for these feelings that I've been feeling is you." Esri said to Shinichi with tears in her both eyes as she looked at Shinichi.
Shinichi was dumbfounded. Is this the work of the goddess of luck or something? We felt the same too. This urge of wanting her is getting stronger every time they spend time with each other. He didn't feel this kind of feeling when he saw some beautiful girls like Kiara. she's beautiful too but he didn't feel the same way he felt with Reina and Esri. Additional to that Reina and Esri are good to each other, and they look like they are sisters already a long time ago.
Shinichi sighed and went closer to Esri. Reina then pushed Esri's back towards Shinichi and they end up hugging each other. They look at each other in the eyes.
"Then Esri, I will take responsibility as you said. Will you be my second wife?" Shinichi said with a serious look on his face.
"Whe-when I was a kid, I dreamed of becoming a wife of a strong swordsman as strong as me. But now, you are stronger than me and I even became your student. I didn't think that my lover will be my teacher in swordsmanship" Esri said with an excitedly look on her face.
Her cheerful personality is what makes Shinichi fall in love with her with a gutsy personality and has a determination as him. They are destined with each other just like Reina.
"You mean?" Shinichi asked.
"Yes, I will be your second wife," Esri replied.
"I love you Esri." Said Shinichi as he smiled charmingly
"I love you two." Replied by Esri
They suddenly kissed with lots of passion and love for each other. After a minute of kissing, they suddenly heard Reina.
"Cough, we are in the forest now with lots of magical beasts. Continue it later after we finished the mission." Reina said to them with a teasing smile on her face.
They suddenly stopped kissing and looked at each other before they smiled happily. They then continue their hunt in the forest.
