Chapter 127: August the mentor

As August mentored Claire and Diana, he carefully observed their progress and development, particularly Diana, who seemed to resonate more deeply with his teachings. Inwardly, August evaluated their potential and growth with a mixture of pride and cautious optimism.

For Claire, August recognized her eagerness to learn and her determination to grasp the concepts he presented. All what he said was something that would come naturally for her and easily too. But it didn't harm to keep offering her guidance and encouragement whenever necessary. 

If Claire was able to shake off her traumatic past and regain her confidence, then August would be satisfied.
