Chapter 104: A Useful Piece

August had a placid expression on his face but inwardly he laughed. He did not expect Speed Demon to be such an idiot. Did he think for a moment that what he was doing was going to infuriate him? That was hilarious. August's impression of the white-clothed youth before him was that of an entitled prick who thought he deserved to have everything and everyone, because of his noble lineage. There was no way he could take an idiot like that seriously.

As August kept watching silently while Speed Demon continued with his scheme, he began to realize that the latter's aim from the start was to attempt a probe on him, hoping that he could find a weakness or some flaw of his. 

Was it to find out whether he wanted to make Diana his woman?
