Chapter 493: Contact?

The war in Norway was brewing and Ragnar had made his move with his army marching to Kattegat but this left his Kingdom vulnerable.

Ragnar was so blinded by rage that he didn't have methods in place to make sure that Vestfold wasn't secured but without his presence.

The spies that were within his walls began to make their move and one of them found their way into the dungeon where Ulf and the rest were kept.

The fact that he could enter implied he was a Viking otherwise he would have been stopped but he wasn't foolish enough to set the prisoners free.

Ulf saw a shadowy figure approach him from within his cell but he couldn't make out his features.

"You're Ulf, are you not?" The person asked but Reidar and Ulrik were asleep, they had quite a busy day and they knew that Ragnar wouldn't kill them so there was no reason for them to be on high alert.
