Chapter 83: Can't I Steal a Few?

After Alaric received Pamela's report, he decided to first prioritize getting a place to stay. It seemed that he would be in White Bridge for longer than expected.

The report that the slime wrote out had actually surprised Alaric to an extent, as it read, "Many homeless. Majority are children. Some elderly. Forts built from trash."

Actually, this directly answered Alaric's main concern. When he originally saw the alleyways, he wondered why the White Bridge so heavily putting emphasis on keeping their town clean would allow trash to pile up. 

'They must be allowing the homeless to keep these trashes so that they have a place to handle the weathering of the world. If "many" is enough to cause an issue in the case of rebellion, they truly can't clean the alleyways,' Alaric thought.

Of course, Pamela's report was simply too general. So tonight, Alaric would check the alleyways out himself. In order to do so, Alaric would make a quick set of preparations.
