Chapter 34: Poor guy

As they stepped out of the elevator, Elvina glanced at the staff members running around while pushing shelves of clothes inside a particular room. 

Archer was heading in the same direction and she suddenly grabbed his hand.

He paused and turned around, his gaze shifting to her delicate fingers wrapped around his fingers. His jaw clenched and his eyes narrowed briefly. 

No, he didn't just picture those fingers wrapped somewhere else. He didn't!

''Are we here to buy clothes for me?" she asked, letting go of his palm when she felt his gaze on their intertwined hands. 

''You just realized?" Archer raised an eyebrow. 

''I don't want to....'' Elvina had no interest in shopping. The underground wardrobe in her room had more clothes than this entire place.
