Synopsis
Waking up to a kidnapping, not surprising for a crime syndicate member, Grey thought he could solve it the usual way. But the world is not what it used to be. Brutal beating, crippling injury, greedy nobles, arranged marriage, century old debt… the list just goes on. And it is all for Grey to tackle, while relying only on his sharp wits and modern knowledge.

- Slow burn for the first 20 chapters as to establish setting and characters, then 20 onwards picks up the necessary pace.

Overall, I’m excited to see where this will go as it has grabbed my attention and hope you also give it a shot. Your thrown in there a bit, and a standard initial plot. But the character interactions and how the Main character acclimated to his surroundings has genuinely been a breath of Fresh air for me. Mind you, as of this post there are only 20 chapters. But I hope the author continues to do great work. Hope anybody reading this has a wonderful day!
