The Shadow's Bastard Child

After a century long civil war, the Empire of Basile set about removing all opposition to the Empress. To accomplish this, the royal family established a new organization: The Cleaners. Specializing in inteligence gathering and assassination, the Cleaners removed any nobles who held aspirations for the throne within the empire.

After dying on earth, Percival is born into a family of Cleaners. However, after discovering that he lacked a mana well he was abandoned by his father. While he was allowed to stay in his family's manor, he was no longer considered to receive his father's position and is given the status of a bastard. Can Percival survive long enough to explore outside the manor?
