Evelyn:
Yawning, a sudden bout of nausea slammed into my body. Running to the bathroom, bitter vomit flew up my throat. Chunks tumbled to the bottom, my body trembling with a fever. Cold sweat soaked my skin, Hudson running in. Holding my hair back, he rubbed my back. More hellish vomit flew from my throat, an inky black ball floated around. The black ball must have been the product of my blood magic, my whole body was screaming in agony. Struggling to my feet, my fingers traced the wall. Peeling off my clothes, hot water erupted from the shower. Hudson waited outside, passing me my toiletries as needed. His wolf was screaming at my wolf to lay down, my prideful wolf telling his wolf to back off.
"I will be fine." I growled irritably, accepting his towel. "Many wolves before me have had pups. Stephan is coming with us. He will drive her car back while I ride on the back of your motorcycle. Theros has already agreed with it, Hudson growled under his breath
"Fine." He snapped hotly, passing me my clothes. "I will accept it." Clicking my bra on, he slid a black sweater over my head. The black jeans he gave me barely buttoned, his hand sliding down to my tiny bump. Kissing the top of my head, I slid his hands up my sweater to my bare stomach. Packing up my bag, Theros burst into the room. Diamond followed behind him, holding her much larger bump. The white dress she wore clung to her swollen belly, her eyes twinkling excitedly. The casual look of a black t-shirt and blue jeans threw me off, his long silky hair was twisted into a bun on the top of his head.
"Here is the number for the blood donor guy near you guys." He chirped cheerfully, passing me a piece of paper with a number on it. "He is allergic to animal blood, so we buy a couple of bags of blood that are about to go bad. You would be surprised how many bags of blood they throw out. It isn't a problem, and thank you for showing him the world. I am going to miss you." Embracing me tightly, Hudson cleared his throat. Stepping back, Hudson wrapped his arms around my waist. Cocking my brow, embarrassment burned on my face. Stephan bounded in, taking the bag. His navy blue t-shirt clung to his slender body, his black skinny jeans clinging to his legs. Worn black sneakers shuffled uncomfortably, his scent sickening Hudson slightly.
"I can't thank you enough." He blubbered happily, a nervous gaze meeting Hudson's intimidating death glare. Stomping on Hudson's boots, his death glare melted into a polite smile. His grip around my waist tightened, his wolf growling at mine.
"Let's go." He barked venomously, the werewolves following after us. "Your clan misses you." Rolling my eyes, he placed me on his back. My lips parted in protest, his saddened gaze met mine. Hurt dimmed his eyes, something was eating at him. Setting me down by his motorcycle, I hopped on behind him. Putting a helmet on, my arms wrapped around his waist. The icy morning breeze nipped at my bare skin, my sweater fluttering in the wind as trees flashed by us. The tires squealed to a stop at a silver coated fence, Hudson killing the engine and stomping away from me. His fists were clenched tightly, blood dripping onto the ground. Ripping off my helmet, his back was turned to me.
"Just wait a fucking minute!" I screamed at the top of my lungs, his wolf eyes flashing back at me. "I refuse to let you walk away from me." Every other werewolf glanced anxiously over at me, a death glare from Hudson shutting them down. Choosing to ignore me, his boots pounded towards his cabin. Stephan stood alone in the center of the village, a black haired sixteen year old girl running up to him. A burst of energy spread through the village, her mate was just found early. Chaos broke out, her parents charging at him. Jumping in front of him, Hudson continued walking. Holding both of them back, a steady stream of curse words flew in my direction. A fist swung in my direction, rage boiled in my veins. Shoving them to the ground, the two of them glared up at me.
"He is a guest of mine, and if you don't like then get out of my clan. She just found her mate, and you will do nothing to stop it. As your Luna, I demand that you respect my orders." I barked hotly, the two of them struggling to their feet. "What is your decision? I refuse to have another childhood like mine occur with me. He is half vampire, half human so he should only be half bad in your eyes." Turning my back, the mother launched herself at me. Catching her midair, my foot slammed into her stomach. Pinning her down with the heel of my black boots, my hands rested in my pocket.
"How dare you bring one of them back in here!" The gray haired father snarled venomously, rushing at me. "They killed my father, and you have them build a fucking wall. What is your plan, you foul witch? We were all right to judge you for your magical indiscretions. We all wanted you killed as a child the moment you showed you could use magic." Tears welled up in my eyes, horrible memories of high school flashing in my mind. His fist slammed into my face, my jaw cracking. Hudson popped up behind me, his boot slamming into his chest. Cocking his head, a snarl curled on his lips.
"Did you know that a living dead army of creatures is working under her grandfather? She is the only one who can kill him. Because of that fence dead werewolves can't come in, and you are an asshole for hitting a pregnant woman." He yelled in his face, the tension building all around me. "Accept her or get out. Accept Stephan or get out. Do you understand!" Tears streamed down my face, frightened werewolves gazed over in our direction. Chills ran up my spine, his fangs growing. He was going to do something bad if I didn't stop him, rage seething in his eyes. Not knowing what to do, the thought of everyone hating me plaguing my mind. What would it take for them to even like me! Fuck them all!
"Enough!" I shouted over the growls, everyone stopping in their tracks. "How the hell do you expect to win if you can't even get along with a half vampire! We have a whole world of hurt coming our way and you insist on hating me. I heard of your treatment of the vampires, and I am very disappointed in you. None of you treated them with respect. Have I hurt any of you ever! You all treated me like a dangerous weapon, just a breeder. I have no problem killing any of you if you harm Stephan here. Good fucking day!" Releasing her mother, everyone watched as I stomped away from the whole scene. Latia ran up next to me, her hand resting on her shoulder. Slapping her hand away, hurt flashed in her eyes. Hudson chased after me, the icy air biting me as I leapt over the gate. Ripping off my boots, my bare feet pounded against the rocky dirt. Branches scratched my face, my whole body quaking with mixed emotions. My inner wolf was pissed, ready to tear the whole clan to shreds. I needed time alone, and to get out of here. Teardrops crashed onto the ground, storm clouds brewing in the morning sky. My head throbbed, my body smashing into Hudson's strong arms. Gazing up at him, a loving gaze met mine.
"You don't have to run anymore." He promised sweetly, my fingers gripping his black t-shirt. Burying my head into his chest, he held me while uncontrollable sobs wracked my body. Tears soaked his shoulders, his arms scooping me up. This wasn't fair, my heart shattering at the looks of disgust aimed specifically at me. Carrying me back to the village, everyone looked at us. Ignoring them, he carried me up the stairs to our bedroom. Sitting me down on the bed, his lips pressed against mine sweetly. Dusting off my outfit, he twisted my hair into a side braid. Tracing my cheeks, he pressed his forehead to mine. My thighs rubbed together, his scent driving my inner wolf crazy.
"I am so sorry that you had to yell at your people." I stammered awkwardly, Latia hovering in the door. Grayson popped up behind her, his arms around her waist. Concern flashed in both of their eyes, Latia's eyes falling on the floor. Looking away in shame, Hudson sent them away. Cupping my face, his warm gaze eased my nerves.
"They accepted Stephan after I told them to." He promised sweetly, my hands trembling. "I am so sorry. I was mad at first, but seeing you stand up for him showed me how wrong I was about everything. Your childhood allowed you to see all types of creatures and how kind some of them could be. Forgive me for ever having such an attitude growing up. I would have shaken things up with you in high school." A soft blush rose to my cheeks, his lips kissing me gently. Lifting up my sweater, my nerves screamed for more as his lips brushed against my bare stomach. Writhing under his touch, I wanted him more.
"I think we should get back to work." I sighed deeply, leaping to my feet. "We are probably far behind all of it. I could use the distraction." Pulling him to his office, starting the coffee maker. Sitting down at my desk, a piece of paper cut my finger. Sucking on my finger, Hudson looked deep in thought in his office. Knocking on the door, he glanced up at me. A blank look dimmed his face, his lips curling into a crooked grin.
"Could you sit on my lap?" He queried shyly, patting his lap. "I would work better if you were sitting here." Sitting down on his lap, his arms wrapped around my waist. Brushing his lips on the nape of my neck, he flipped through the paperwork. Stamping some of the orders, his hand slid up my thigh. Unbuttoning my pants, his hand slid down my pants. Spinning his finger around my swollen clit, my thighs rubbing together. His lips brushed the nape of my neck, his lips sucking on my neck. Goosebumps popped up, a moan of pleasure exploding from my lips.
"Sir, we have work to do." I growled hungrily, his touch driving me nuts. "Let's hurry up, so we can play. Let me take some of the work." Taking half of the work, he buried his nose into his work. This was life, sweet and simple for just a moment.
