Anna could not imagine the strength his power would have once he realized that she had been killed. Perhaps, this time once and for all. Certainly, it would be a sight to behold. She only hoped that it would be enough to save humanity. To go back to where he truly belonged.
Anna felt the weight of her responsibilities lift itself from her shoulders now that she knew the solution to their problem. She had sacrificed herself once. What was one more time? Moreover, Kuzzaz would surely not allow his star employee to die in futility, right?
She opened her eyes and sought out Ladislas. He has in battle as always, his eyes clear. She knew
he was paying her no mind then, which was good. He needed to be alone with his thoughts. Anna rose and walked slowly towards him as if he were the only thing in the world.

SunScar9 I will apologize for the delay. I have had most of this chapter written and with no strength to post it. Honestly, I have not been in a good place mentally and still am not. But I am a bit better and I mustered up the energy to write this chapter. I will try to write more and post until the story finishes.
